1. CELEBRATE SUCCESS EDUCATION AWARDS

Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost is offering four awards:  Going Green Environmental Program, Student Art Contest, Why Education Matters Essay Contest, and Education For All Photography Contest.  To apply for any of these awards go to www.fagenfriedman.com/foundation

 

.PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARS PROGRAM AT CSULB

The Program offers an exceptional scholarship package designated for valedictorians from accredited California high schools or California National Scholars.  To be considered, you must submit a CSULB admission application online no later than Friday, November 30, 2012. 3. CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY FULLERTON SCHOLARS SCHOLARSHIP

The CSU Scholarship Program for Future Scholars at California State University, Fullerton, is designed to help finance the first year of studies at CSUF.  The Program awards up to fifty $1,500 scholarships to first-time freshman/first-time transfer students and environmental, or educational background.  The CSU Scholarship Program for Future Scholars honors students who demonstrate strong academic skills and achievements, service to school and home communities, and strength of character. 4. RONALD McDonald HOUSE CHARITIES SCHOLARSHIP

5. THE DANIEL CARLOS HERRERA MEMORIAL

The Los Angeles County Bilingual Directors’ Association is offering $500 scholarships for the 2014-2015 school Year.  Applications are available in the Career Center, for eligibility requirements, and to pick up an application stop by the Career Center.

6. SHELLY SPIEGEL-COLEMAN SCHOLARSHIP

The Los Angeles County Bilingual Directors’ Association is offering $500 scholarships for the 2014-2015 school Year.  Applications are available in the Career Center, for eligibility requirements, and to pick up an application stop by the Career Center.

7. NORTHROP GRUMMAN ENGINEERING SCHOLars

This scholarship program is intended to support promising high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in an approved engineering program and who live in communities where Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems has a major presence.  Individual scholarships of $10,000 divided into $2,500 over the course of 4 years. 8. NATIONAL CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – WACE (advancing cooperative & work-integrated education)

Please note that to be eligible for the scholarship you must apply to one of our eleven WACE Partner Institutions listed.  Clarkson University, State university of New York Oswego, Drexel University, University of Cincinnati, Johnson & Wales University, University of Massachusetts Lowell, Rochester Institute of Tehnology, The University of Toledo, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Merrimack College and Kettering University.  To apply go to www.waceinc.org or stop by the Career Center for more information.

9. NORTH AMERICA TAIWANESE WOMEN’S ASSOCIAITON COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

NATWA offers college scholarships to high school seniors or college students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace.  To learn more about NATWA, visit the website at www.natwa.com.  For further scholarship criteria stop by the Career Center to pick up an application.

10. ASIAN PACIFIC FUND

Asian Pacific Fund, administers 12 scholarship programs, each with unique eligibility criteria.  Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $20,000 and many are renewable.  Please view further scholarship criteria and apply now online at http://www.asianpacificfund.org, http://www.fastweb.com, http://www.scholarships.com, or http://www.collegetoolkit.com. Once you register with any one of these free sites, you will be told about all of the scholarships for which you qualify, including those offered by the Asian Pacific Fund.

11. CALIFORNIA MIDDLE CLASS SCHOLARSHIP

Who qualifies:  UC and Cal State students with family incomes of $150,000 or less and at least a C average.  The program is for those who are not eligible for Cal Grants.  To enroll apply the same way you would for a federal loan, using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  For more information go to http://www.facebook.com/CSAC.StudentAidCommission or the Career Center.

DEADLINE:  March 2 and must be resubmitted every year of college

 

12. ITALIAN CATHOLIC FEDERATION

The Italian Catholic Federation is offering a $400.00 scholarship to Roman Catholic seniors but need not to be of Italian descent.  Applications are available in the Career Center or you can download the application by going to http://www.icf.org

13.CALIFORNIA WINE GRAPE GROWERS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

For High School Seniors whose parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s) are/were Vineyard Employees of a California Wine Grape Grower during the 2014 or 2015.  For further scholarship criteria stop by the Career Center to pick up an application.

14.ROBERT MILLER SCHOLARSHIP

15. NAVAL RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS (NROTC) SCHOLARSHIP
