1. CELEBRATE SUCCESS EDUCATION AWARDS

Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost is offering four awards:  Going Green Environmental Program, Student Art Contest, Why Education Matters Essay Contest, and Education For All Photography Contest.  To apply for any of these awards go to www.fagenfriedman.com/foundation

 

2. WANG FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship fund targets students attending identified community colleges (please see application in the Career Center). This scholarship provides for at least two consecutive years for students attending a community college in the Los Angles an Ventura County areas. Please come to the Career Center to find out more about this scholarship and pick up an application.

3. CALIFORNIA LATINO LEGISLATIVE CAUCUS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship.  This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. Please come to the Career Center to pick up an application.

DEADLINE:  June 1, 2015, application must arrived by their office by this date.

 

4. ASIAN AMERICAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISES (AAEDE) SCHOLARSHIP

AAEDE wishes to award scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and plan to continue their education after high school graduation. Awards range from $500.00 to $1000.00. Come the Career Center for an application.

DEADLINE: June 12, 2015

 

5. PEDRO ZAMORA

The Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors, and college freshman, sophomores and juniors (ages 27 and younger) who demonstrate an active commitment to fighting AIDS and taking on roles of public service and leadership (e.g. providing peer-based prevention and education; engaging in advocacy or grass-roots activism; raising public awareness; and/or delivering practical, emotional or treatment support to people living with HIV/AIDS), and who plan to continue to find ways to make a difference in the epidemic through their careers or through public service opportunities after their education is complete.  Scholarships range from $2,500 to $5,000.  Information about the Scholarship and how to apply can be found on their website at: http://www.aidsmemorial.org/events/2015-pedro-zamora-young-leaders-scholarship

6. NAVAL RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS (NROTC) SCHOLARSHIP
