1. CELEBRATE SUCCESS EDUCATION AWARDS

Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost is offering four awards:  Going Green Environmental Program, Student Art Contest, Why Education Matters Essay Contest, and Education For All Photography Contest.  To apply for any of these awards go to www.fagenfriedman.com/foundation

 

2.  THE HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP (For Juniors Only)

One scholarship endless opportunities, this scholarship is for students who possess the character to succeed in life.  To qualify, you must have at least a 2.0 GPA and require financial assistance to go to college.  For further scholarship criteria and to apply online go to www.horatioalger.org/scholarships 

DEADLINE:  October 25, 2014

 

3. CALIFORNIA MIDDLE CLASS SCHOLARSHIP

Who qualifies:  UC and Cal State students with family incomes of $150,000 or less and at least a C average.  The program is for those who are not eligible for Cal Grants.  To enroll apply the same way you would for a federal loan, using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  For more information go to http://www.facebook.com/CSAC.StudentAidCommission or the Career Center.

DEADLINE:  March 2 and must be resubmitted every year of college
