2. NORTH AMERICA TAIWANESE WOMEN’S ASSOCIAITON COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

3. “REMEMBERING OUR HEROES” ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST

The El Monte Police Officers Association in collaboration with the El Monte Promise Foundation is proud to present the 1st ever “Remembering our Heroes” essay scholarship contest. 4. ASIAN PACIFIC FUND

45 Buddhist Foundation

Tzu Chi Foundation is pleased to announce it annual scholarship program for students with financial needs and outstanding academic achievement.  The TZU CHI Scholarship is available to all graduating seniors.  This is a nationwide scholarship and each winner will receive a $1000.  To download and print an application go to TZU CHI SCHOLARSHIP also applications are available in the Career Center.

6. ITALIAN CATHOLIC FEDERATION

The Italian Catholic Federation is offering a $400.00 scholarship to Roman Catholic seniors but need not to be of Italian descent.  Applications are available in the Career Center or you can download the application by going to http://www.icf.org

7. CHANGE A LIFE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is available to 12th grade students who plan on attending a four-year college or university. Please view further scholarship criteria and apply online at http://changealife.org/scholarship-program/apply/

8. CALIFORNIA WINE GRAPE GROWERS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

For High School Seniors whose parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s) are/were Vineyard Employees of a California Wine Grape Grower during the 2015 or 2016 season.  For further scholarship criteria stop by the Career Center to pick up an application.

9. CALIFORNIA ALARM ASSOCIATION (CAA)

The student must be a graduating senior and accepted for admission to an accredited college.  Each eligible student must have a parent or guardian who is a full-time law enforcement (police) or fire service personnel.  Applications are available in the Career Center.

10. HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND

In the 2015-2016 scholarship cycle, HSF selected more than 4,400 Scholars funded by many different companies and organizations.  The HSF application opens January 1st and allows students to apply for multiple scholarships with one application!  Awards range from $500-$5,000 and may be used for the institution and major of choice.  Create your MyHSF profile and get ready now, to apply for scholarships January 1st! 

Eligibility for the HSF Scholarship:

  • Must be of Hispanic heritage
  • U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, DACA or eligible non-citizen (as define by FAFSA)
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited 4-year university in the fall of the desired scholarship year
  • Complete FAFSA or Dream Act (if applicable)

11. FOOTHILL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION COLLEGE BOUND SCHOLARSHIP

This year Foothill Federal Credit Union will be awarding $2000 scholarships to select Money $mart and Money Bound members who are pursuing a college education. Applications are available in the Career Center.

12. FATHER COLFFIELD / JOE VENEGAS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is sponsored by the La Historia Society Museum of El Monte. The purpose of this scholarship is to award one student from each of the 6 EMUHSD schools a $100.00 award that may be used to help pay for college expenses. Pick up an application in the Career Center.

DEADLINE: April 29, 2016. Submit the completed application to the Career Center.

 

 

13. F3 STUDENT AWARDS

The F3 Education Awards Program offers a series of education awards for students attending California public schools. F3 is committed to support and celebrate public education's success. For further scholarship criteria go to  F3AWARDS.ORG

 

14. INSURANCE SCHOLARSHIP

  If you’ve never heard of insurance scholarships, then listen up. These top insurance scholarships offer financial support from $500 to     $10,000 to a full-ride.
