7. Association (CAA)
The student must be a graduating senior and accepted for admission to an accredited college. Each eligible student must have a parent or guardian who is a full-time law enforcement (police) or fire service personnel. Applications are available in the College and Career Center.

8. HISPANIC OUTREACH TASKFORCE SCHOLARSHIP
HOT mission is to improve the quality of life of Hispanics and the community through programs in education, health, economic development, financial literacy, and the cultural arts. All qualified individuals will be considered without regard to race, sex, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, religious affiliation, or disability. 9. FOOTHILL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION COLLEGE BOUND SCHOLARSHIP

10. FATHER COLFFIELD / JOE VENEGAS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is sponsored by the La Historia Society Museum of El Monte. The purpose of this scholarship is to award one student from each of the 6 EMUHSD schools a $100.00 award that may be used to help pay for college expenses. Pick up an application in the College and Career Center.

11. THE BOBBY SALCEDO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Salcedo Scholarship committee will offer 10 scholarships this year to El Monte Union High School students. This scholarship honors the memory and promotes the hope Bobby Salcedo had to see his students continue their education past high school. Please come to the Career Center to pick up an application.

The El Monte/Arcadia Civitan Club is a non-profit service organization with a special focus on helping those with disabilities. They are offering a $500 scholarship to a local high school senior who plans to attend a college or trade school after graduation. To pick up an application stop by the College and Career Center.

15. FOSTER CHILD SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is available to incoming college students who are currently or were placed in foster care or placed into a ward, group home or private home of a state certified caregiver/foster parent.
