1. ROSS AUTOMOTIVE GROUP SCHOLARSHIP

Ross automotive Group is pleased to announce its 13th Annual Scholarship Essay Contest.  The Scholarship Essay Contest is open to college bound graduating seniors who meet the eligibility requirements. For further scholarship criteria, and to pick up an eligibility form stop by the Career Center.

2. BERNARD SIEGEL - BILL TAINTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities established the Bernard Siegel – Bill Tainter Memorial Scholarship Program to offer high school students with disabilities a financial opportunity to become more independent and self-sufficient through higher education.  For further scholarship criteria and to pick up an application stop by the Career Center.

3. ASIAN AMERICAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISES (AAEDE) SCHOLARSHIP

AAEDE wishes to award scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need and plan to continue their education after high school graduation. Awards range from $500.00 to $1000.00. Come to the Career Center for an application.

4. Sembrando Un Futuro

The El Monte High School Categorical Programs Comite de Becas will be awarded to deserving El Monte High School seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation.  For further scholarship criteria, and to pick up an application stop by the Career Center.

5. LM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

At Leavitt Machinery we will be providing a $1000 scholarship to a deserving student who is currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September. 6. Berkeley Student Foundation Scholarship

The Jenny Franchot & Albert Johnson Diversity Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Berkeley Student Foundation is a non-profit campus organization whose mission is to help encourage student diversity at UC Berkeley.  The scholarship amount to $1,000 for each year of attendance at UC Berkeley and may be renewed at the end of each academic year.  Applications are available in the Career Center.

7.“ASPIRING ANIMATION PROFESSIONAL”

Aspiring animation professional scholarship program is offering high school seniors the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship.  This will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  For further scholarship criteria and to apply go to http://www.animationcareerreview.com.

8.  DR. JOHN ROGERS COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP

The main goal of the Rogers Community Volunteer Scholarship is to inspire young people to make contributions to their individual communities, while providing awards to those who are currently making a positive difference in their own neighborhoods, towns and cities. 9. NAEHCY (National Association For The Education Of Homeless Children and Youth) SCHOLARSHIP

The National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth provides scholarship assistance to students who are homeless or have experienced homelessness through the LeTendre Education Fund for Homeless Children. Please come to the Career Center to pick up an application.

10. SEDARY & ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

To be eligible for the Sedary Associates scholarship a student must be between the ages of 16-22 on the day your application is due.  Be enrolled in a college, university, trades or technical school by no later then the fall of 2013. 11. LIFT PARTS EXPRESS SCHOLARSHIPS
