5. FATHER COLFFIELD / JOE VENEGAS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is sponsored by the La Historia Society Museum of El Monte. The purpose of this scholarship is to award one student from each of the 6 EMUHSD schools a $100.00 award that may be used to help pay for college expenses. Pick up an application in the College and Career Center.

6. THE BOBBY SALCEDO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Salcedo Scholarship committee will offer 10 scholarships this year to El Monte Union High School students. This scholarship honors the memory and promotes the hope Bobby Salcedo had to see his students continue their education past high school. Please come to the Career Center to pick up an application.

The Misty S. Quiñones scholarship awards on the basis of your personal statement question responses and most importantly individualism. This scholarship is available to incoming college students who are currently or were placed in foster care or placed into a ward, group home or private home of a state certified caregiver/foster parent.

15. AJ WANG FOUNDATION
AJ Wang Foundation was established as a non-profit organization in November 2008. The foundation is led by a couple who immigrated to the U.S. to pursue the “American Dream.” The Scholarship Fund is targeting students attending Foundation selected community colleges in the Southern California area. The Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for up to three consecutive years for students attending the designated community colleges in the Los Angeles, Ventura and now Orange County areas.
